Add rice and water into a microwave bowl cover and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Then set aside to finish cooking.
While the rice finishes cooking put ground beef, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder into a Dutch oven and cook on medium heat until cooked completely.
Then add the baked beans and cooked rice. Mix completely and serve.
