3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup diced green chilies

Mix margarine, corn, garlic salt, eggs, cornmeal, chilies, and 1 & 1/2 cups cheddar cheese in a 2 quart casserole. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
