1 small jar (4 oz.) dried beef, chopped
1 bunch green onion, chopped (reserve white ends for another use)
cups 1 to 1 1/2 chopped nuts (peanuts work best - use package of "nut topping" for ice cream to save time)

Let's Make It
Combine softened cream cheese, chopped beef and green onion.
Kneed by hand in a large bowl until blended evenly. Form a round ball with the mixture and roll in nuts.
Can serve immediately or refrigerate until needed (should sit at room temperature 20 minutes before serving if chilled). Serve with assorted crackers. Refrigerate leftovers (if you have any).
