Saute onion and garlic in butter on high heat until the onions start to caramelize. Quickly sear the pork chops (make sure they don't burn).
Turn the heat down to medium; add the cream of mushroom soup and the milk. Cover your pan and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Check your pork chops to make sure they are cooked all the way through. It may take longer depending on your stove.
