Cook the sausage in skillet, and the bell pepper and onion, cook till done. Drain the grease. Add the softened cream cheese to the sausage, mix well.
Meanwhile, unroll 1 can of crescent rolls on ungreased baking sheet to form a rectangle, pinch together the seams well. Spread the sausage/cream cheese mixture in center of dough and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the sausage mixture, save 1 cup of the cheese for the top. Unroll the second can of crescent roll, place on top of the sausage mixture, and pinch together all seams well.
Place in oven at 350°F and bake till almost golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, place in oven and bake till the cheese on top is melted. Cool and serve, it’s delicious! ENJOY.
