3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup apples, shredded

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Beat milk, vegetable oil and egg. Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Finally add your apples and sprinkle with brown sugar if desired. When you mix, ingredients will be lumpy so don't over mix.

Pour batter evenly into 12 muffin pan cups.

Bake 18 to 20 minutes.
