2 cans tomatoes (2 lbs, 3 oz)
4 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 tablespoons chopped chives
salt and pepper to taste
3 cups fresh bread crumbs

1. Drain tomatoes and chop coarsely

2. Butter a pie dish and line with bread crumbs. Press the bread crumbs down firmly.

3. Place tomatoes on top of bread crumbs and sprinkle with parsley , chives, salt and pepper. dot with butter

4. cover with more bread crumbs dot with more butter and cook in a moderate over 350 f for 1/2 hour to 40 minuets
