1 1/4 cup (hot) water
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup shortening (not oil)
1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
ICING:
Cook in sauce pan
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
3 egg yolks
Cook until thickened
ADD:
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup Bakers coconut
1 cup pecan pieces
