In a wok or other deep frying pan, place butter or margins and dressing. Heat at medium high till bubbling. Add shrimp. Stir fry just till liquid forms from shrimp. Remove shrimp with slotted spoon.
Increase heat to high. Reduce liquid to 1/3. Return shrimp to pan, reduce heat to medium. Stir fry shrimp just until heated through. Do not overcook as shrimp will become tough.
Serve in dishes that allow you to add some of the sauce for dipping. Recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for a crowd.
