4 large potatoes, cooked and mashed (no butter or milk)
1 can red or pink salmon
1/2 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs (as in Progresso)
1 tsp Bay Seasoning
3/4 tsp black pepper
3/4 tsp celery salt
1 egg, beaten
Crisco shortening for frying

Combine mashed potatoes with the salmon. Mix in all the remaining ingredients including egg.

Form into patties.

Fry in pan with Crisco "shortening" until crisp on both sides. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
