1 box waffle mix & instructions
1 apple, (granny smith are best)
1/2 cup cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar

Preheat waffle iron. Following instructions for waffle mix, make the waffle mix and set aside.

Mix cinnamon and sugar together in bowl and set aside. Finely dice apple into no more than 1/3 inch thick. Take apple chunks and mix with cinn/sugar mix in bowl until apple pieces are covered. Add desired amount of apple pieces to one cup of waffle mix.

Pour mix into waffle iron and wait until done. When done, you have a delicious gourmet waffle your family can enjoy.
