Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Arrange 4 noodles in bottom of greased 13x9 baking dish.
Cook onion in butter or margarine till tender. Stir in cream cheese, cottage cheese, egg, basil, salt and pepper; spread half atop noodles.
Combine soup, milk and wine. Stir in shrimp and crab. Spread half over cottage cheese layer. Repeat layers (noodles, cream cheese mixture, and cottage cheese mixture). Sprinkle with parmesan.
Bake (uncovered) in 350°F oven for 45 minutes. Top with American or cheddar cheese. Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
