3 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 sticks margarine, softened
3 cups granulated sugar
6 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoon lemon extract

Preheat oven on 300 degrees F. In the medium mixing bowl, sift flour and baking powder together five (5) times and set it aside.

In the large mixing bowl, blend the margarine and sugar at medium speed until creamy. Mix in eggs. Add sifted flour and milk. Add lemon extract. Mix batter on high speed for 10 minutes.

Grease and flour 10" cake pan. Pour batter into pan.

Bake in oven for 1 hour.
