Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 whole chicken, thawed or frozen, washed
5 lb potatoes
2 lg. onions
1/2 head garlic
4 Tbsp seasoned salt, approx.
2 Tbsp Rosemary
Pepper, to taste
2 Tbsp garlic powder (not garlic salt)
2 Tbsp onion powder (not onion salt)
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups butter

Wash chicken and place in roasting pan.

Peel, clean, and cut potatoes into chunks. Place in pan around chicken.

Peel and cut onion into chunks, and layer on top of potatoes. Peel and roughly cut garlic and place on top of onion.

Sprinkle with all the spices and herbs. Add water. Then add butter by the Tbsp. put on top of veggies and chicken.

Cover and bake at 350°F for about 3 1/2 hours.
