1 1/2 lb very lean ground chuck
3/4 cup crushed saltine crackers or bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/4 cup Heinz tomato catsup
1 tablespoon chopped green bell peppers

Combine all ingredients thoroughly.

Pack firmly into loaf pan.

Bake on center rack of oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes or more before slicing.
