1 cup applesauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Crisco oil
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon allspice (optional)

Let's Make It
Coat raisins and pecans with very small amount of flour. This will keep them from going to the bottom of the cake.
Combine all ingredients (except raisins and pecans) in large bowl. Blend well, beat at med. speed on electric mixer 4 min. Add coated raisins and pecans, stirring well. Pour into (2) greased and floured 8x4 in loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until pick inserted comes out clean and cake begins to pull away from sides of pan. DO NOT UNDERBAKE. Cool in pans 15 minutes. Remove and finish cooling on wire rack. When cool, slice and serve.
