Beat margarine, sugar and egg until fluffy. Stir in flour.
Press half of the dough in a 10 inch pie plate. Spoon in the pie filling. Crumble remaining dough over pie.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 50 min or until golden brown. Cool and sprinkle with icing sugar if so desired.
