1 lb hamburger meat
1 small onion, diced
32 oz shells (noodles)
1 can (8 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 can (16 oz.) spaghetti sauce
Butter
slices 6 to 8 cheese (any kind)

Fry hamburger meat with diced onions and strain off grease. Boil and strain pasta. Heat hamburger mixture, diced tomatoes, and sauce.

Put pasta in the bottom of casserole dish. Top with small amounts of butter. Pour sauce mixture over that. Layer with cheese.

Cook at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Let cool and serve.
