1 can cream soup (cream celery, cream mushroom, or cream chicken)
2 tablespoons butter
6 saltine crackers
3 slices Kraft American Cheese

Drain can of asparagus and chop up with fork. Add cream soup and mix well.
Melt butter in small skillet or bowl in microwave, break up crackers in butter (do not crush into crumbs). Saute crackers well with butter. Pour crackers into bottom of casserole dish covering bottom of dish. Pour asparagus & soup mixture over crackers. Tear slices of cheese placing on top of mixture.
Place into 300 to 325 degrees F oven for all ingredients to heat thoroughly. Remove when cheese has melted on top. Approximately 25 minutes.
