Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 stick melted butter (1/2 cup)
3 cans apple pie filling
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
1 Tbsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond
1 cup chopped pecans
CRUST:
1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups heavy cream - (whipping cream)

Spray 13 X 9 pan with cooking spray. Melt butter and pour into pan (make sure butter covers bottom). Mix apple pie filling, sugar, brown sugar, all three spices, and both flavorings. Set Aside.

Prepare CRUST by adding all dry ingredients. Whisk until blended. Whisk in heavy cream. When batter has no lumps, pour into pan over butter. Spread apple mixture evenly over crust. Sprinkle pecans over apple mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes until golden brown. Let cool. Serve with ice cream.
