Mix mayonnaise, cheese, onions and garlic together in a bowl.
Split in half a loaf of French bread, spread each half with mixture sprinkle paprika on top. Slice bread in serving size but not all the way through.
Bake in a hot oven 10 minutes to heat and melt cheese. Put under broiler until brown.
