Melt butter and saute onion in medium sauce pan. Add cream cheese and continue to stir over medium heat until melted. Pour whipping cream into mixture and continue to stir while adding all parmesan cheese.
When completely blended, add diced chicken and simmer on low heat while preparing linguine as directed on package. Add nutmeg to sauce and stir.
Serve sauce over linguine.
