Scald milk; pour over shortening, sugar & salt. Stir well and cool to lukewarm; add yeast & mix toughly. Add eggs and 3 cups flour; mix well and let stand 15 minutes.
Knead dough while adding remaining flour. Place in a greased bowl and let rise for 1 hour. Punch down and make rolls. Place rolls in pan (barely touching). Let rolls rise 1 hour.
Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F for 15 minutes.
