Original recipe yields 1 serving
3/4 cup flour
2 tsp garlic powder
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
6-8 pieces your favorite chicken (I prefer skinless boneless thighs)
1-2 cups water
1 1/2 cups salsa
1-2 cups your favorite Kraft Shredded Cheese (I prefer the using the 2% Shredded Mozzarella)

Let's Make It

Mix flour and garlic together on a shallow plate. Coat chicken thoroughly with the garlic/flour & reserve remaining mixture off to the side.

Add olive oil to a large skillet and heat it a few minutes. Add chicken pieces to the skillet, cook turning frequently, approx. 20 minutes until done. Remove chicken from skillet.

Add remaining flour and garlic mixture to the skillet. Add 1/2 cup of water and stir gradually adding additional water as needed until you have a very thick gravy type mixture. Add the 1 1/2 cups of salsa, stirring thoroughly and adding in additional water if needed until mixture resembles a normal gravy thickness.

Add chicken pieces back into the skillet with the salsa gravy, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Top off with the Kraft Shredded Cheese placing the bulk of it directly on top of each piece of chicken, recover and simmer for 3-5 minutes until melted. Serve and enjoy with your favorite veggies.
