Prepare macaroni and cheese by instructions on the box (optional to add the peas and onions to the pasta and boil together).
Once the mac and cheese is made, keep in pan and add the drained tuna and soup. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low and stir till smooth.
Remove from burner and pour into a square baking dish. Add as much cheese as you desire on top of mixture and then add the dry onions on top of the cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees F until the cheese is melted and the onions are browned.
