Original recipe yields 1 serving
2 lb ground round
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
4 medium onions, diced and divided
2 cans (29 oz. each) Hunt’s diced petite tomatoes
1 can (28 oz.) Hunt’s tomato sauce
3 cans (16 oz. each) light red kidney beans
1 can (16 oz.) dark red kidney beans
2 package s McCormick’s original chili mix
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (add more if you want it hotter, but be careful !)

Let's Make It

Place meat, oil, garlic salt, and 3 diced onions in a non-stick pot (or spray with Pam) and cook until meat is done. Drain excess liquid for meat mixture using a colander.

Place back in pot and add other ingredients (including the 1 diced onion).

Simmer, stirring occasionally so not to burn or place in a crock-pot. Simmer for about 1 hour.
