Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb Italian pork sausage, remove casings
1 fresh green pepper, chopped
3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dry basil
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 fresh eggs
6 can nelloni pasta shells
1 can (28 oz.) tomato puree
8 oz Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Let's Make It

Heat olive oil in a 12 in. skillet. Add Italian sausage (crumbled). Cook for 10 minutes till browned.

Add chopped green pepper, garlic, and basil to sausage and stir in skillet for 5 min. Let sausage mixture cool for 5 minutes. Add bread crumbs and eggs. Stir into sausage mixture.

Cook cannelloni shells in 4 qts. boiling water for 4 minutes. Remove shells and let cool.

Heat tomato puree in covered sauce pan and let simmer for 10 min. Add 4 oz. Kraft Mozzarella Cheese to sausage mixture, toss, and mix. Stuff shells with the complete mixture, total 6 shells.

In a 8x12 baking dish or pan, line bottom of pan with the tomato puree. Place the stuffed shells in the baking pan, and cover with the remaining Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. Pour the rest of the tomato puree on top of stuffed shells.

Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
