In large skillet, add butter and thyme. Heat on low till butter melts. Add garlic and caramelize onions. In can of coke, add brown sugar. Mix up till dissolved.
Add thawed turkey legs to skillet. Lightly brown turkey on medium while adding the Coke mixture as glaze over turkey legs. Cover and ladle mixture and turn until turkey is cooked through. Add salt and pepper.
About 10 minutes in, start rice, cumin optional. Put drained can of artichoke hearts and lemon juice in pot and heat through.
