2 sticks butter, melted
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 bag (10-ounce) marshmallows

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl beat the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until blended. Beat in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt.

Pour the mixture into a buttered 13 x 9-inch baking pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Remove the cake to the oven and spread the marshmallows evenly over the top. Turn off the oven and return the cake to the oven to melt the marshmallows.
