Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in bowl. Melt butter and chocolate over hot water in a pan. Beat eggs and sugar until well beaten; beat in chocolate and vanilla. Mix in flour mixture. Stir in nuts.
Spread into a well greased and floured 8" square pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Cool before cutting.
