Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 & 1/4 cups cornmeal
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 egg
1 container (8 oz.) sour cream
1 small can cream style corn

Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix all ingredients together well. Make sure all cornmeal is mixed in good until moist.

Grease skillet. It is important to use a black cast iron skillet for best results. Pour ingredients into skillet and smooth evenly across skillet.

Bake 30-40 minutes or until top is golden brown. Butter cornbread good while hot.
