2/3 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup beer
1 egg
Oil for frying + 2 Tbsp. for batter
1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up

In a bowl mix flour, salt, and baking powder. In another bowl mix beer, egg, and 2 Tbsp. oil. Stir egg mixture into dry ingredients

Coat chicken pieces with batter.

Drop in hot oil to fry till browned and tender and cooked through (about 30 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
