Original recipe yields 1 serving
2 lb ground beef or venison
1 cup oatmeal
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 large egg
1 can mushrooms, drained (optional)
Garlic seasoning, all to taste
1 small can tomato sauce

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT the tomato sauce. Mix well.

Put in loaf pan and cook in oven for 1 hour.

Drain excess grease off of meatloaf. Pour entire can of tomato sauce over meatloaf. Reduce heat to 300°F and cook for another 15 minutes.
