Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 cups pineapple juice
2 cups canned crushed pineapple
1 Tbsp dry mustard
Whole cloves
1 bottle (2 liter) ginger ale

In blender or food processor place the sugar, juice, pineapple and mustard. Blend but do not puree.

Stud the ham with cloves. Place ham on rack in roasting pan. Pour pineapple mixture over ham.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour, then lower heat to 300 degrees F for 2 hours.

As the juice in the pan boils down, begin to add ginger ale, as needed. Baste ham every 15 minutes for last hour. Last 30 minutes of baking, remove rack and place ham in bottom of pan.
