Line a sided cookie sheet with foil. Cover the bottom with whole graham crackers.
Mix butter and sugar in a saucepan and boil for 2-3 minutes (if using a thermometer, boil to crack stage). Add nuts and spread over the graham crackers.
Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 10 minutes. Take out of oven and immediately sprinkle the chips over the top, spreading evenly as they melt. Cool completely and break into pieces.
