Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 large onion (yellow or white)
4-5 Tbsp vegetable oil
2-4 lb chicken breast (cut to bite size pieces)
1-2 Tbsp sweet paprika (more or less to taste)
cup 1/2 to 1 chicken broth (enough to cover chicken when simmering)
pint 1/2 to 1 sour cream
Dumplings:
1 cup flour
2 beaten eggs
1/4 cup milk
Seasoning to taste (salt, pepper, garlic, parsley, chives)

In a large saute pan, saute onions in oil until tender. Add chicken and paprika. Brown for about 10 minutes.

Add broth to cover and simmer at LOW heat until chicken is tender.

Add sour cream and heat through. Add dumplings (recipe below) and heat through.

DUMPLINGS: Mix all ingredients until stiff. Drop by tsp. into boiling water. Dumplings will rise to surface when done.
