Original recipe yields 1 serving
6 slices white bread
2 cups diced turkey (you can sub other meats)
1/2 cup celery, finely cut
1/2 cup Kraft Miracle Whip or other mayonnaise
3/4 teaspoon ful salt
Dash of pepper
1 cup cream of mushroom soup (I use Cream of Mushroom Soup and Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup)
1 cup Pimento, American, or sharp cheese
cups 1 to 1 1/2 milk
2 eggs, beaten

Trim crust from bread. Cube crust and save for topping. Spread slices of bread on bottom of baking dish. (Cover bottom completely)

Combine turkey, celery, mayonnaise, seasonings, and mushroom soup. Put over bread, then cover with cheese. (If using Cheddar Cheese Soup, drop soup in spots over mixture). Combine eggs and milk and pour over cheese. Cover and chill 1 hour or overnight.

Butter cubed bread crust (I usually melt Oleo, or butter, and stir the cubes of bread in it untill they are coated) and put on top of souffle. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
