1-2 sq. from a stick of butter
Salt
Pepper
Some oregano, sage, or other herbs

In a large pot, boil the corn on the cob as normal. Towards the end of the cooking, add in the butter, salt, pepper, and herbs. Stir all ingredients with corn and continue as normal.

Take corn out of pot and if corn does not look seasoned when removed from pot, add a dash of extra salt, pepper, herbs, and butter.

Let corn stand on dinner table, covered, to retain heat for about 5-10 minutes, at least before serving.
