Original recipe yields 1 serving
2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 whole garlic cloves, peeled and lightly crushed
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed
1 Tablespoon fresh sage leaves, coarsely chopped or 1 teaspoon dried sage
1 can (15.5 ounces) Bush's Best Cannellini Beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup canned, whole peeled, tomatoes with juice, coarsely chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste
3/4 pound mild Italian sausage links (about 1" round)

Heat olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a large sauce pan over medium heat. Sauté until garlic is lightly browned (about 1 minute).

Discard garlic and stir in sage. Add beans and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.

When mixture begins bubbling, add sausage, and turn heat down to medium-low. Cover pan and turn sausages occasionally. Simmer for about 20 minutes, or until sausages feel tender when pricked with a fork. Serve hot.
