1/2 cup sugar
2 sticks unsalted butter
1 package (9 sheets) graham crackers
Chopped almonds

Preheat oven to 350°F. Boil sugar and butter for 3 minutes.

Break graham crackers into rectangles. Place in a single layer on cookie sheet with sides.

Pour sugar-butter onto grahams. Sprinkle almonds on top.

Bake for 10-12 minutes. Check often so they don't get dark. Remove. Cool on a cookie rack covered with waxed paper.
