Bring both the butter and margarine to room temperature. Place into large mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
S L O W L Y...pour the milk into the butter and blend, a little at a time. Beat well after each addition. At first, it may not seem to want to incorporate the milk, but it will!
Once you have used the entire can of milk, you scoop the butter blend into your own containers and refrigerate.
Produces about 3 one pound containers in volume.
