Grandma Lil's Waldorf Salad

6-8 good sized apples, chopped
cup 1/2 to 1 good quality mayonnaise, depending on how wet you like the salad
2 cups Craisins
1 cup raisins or dried chopped tropical fruit mix
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 cup medium chopped walnuts

Mix the apples and the mayonnaise together first, then add the other ingredients after that mixing in-between to get an even spread.

If you’re not going to immediately serve this salad, make sure to place back into the refrigerator, you do not want the mayo to separate! ick!

For a little spice, you could add a teaspoon of curry powder to the mayo before mixing it with the apples. I don’t use much mayo, I don't like a heavy Waldorf salad. Just crunchy and tasty! Best wishes!
