Start water for pasta before starting sauce. Melt butter in saucepan; add flour when butter is fully melted, but NOT browned. Slowly add half-and-half stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Once entire pint is added; allow to heat thoroughly on med. low heat stirring occasionally.
Cook pasta. When pasta is almost done, add the grated parmesan cheese to the sauce; stirring constantly until smooth.
Add imitation crab or raw seafood; stir occasionally until heated through or seafood is cooked. Serve over pasta.
