Place chicken in big pot. Add juice, onion, parsley, sage, salt, butter, and brown sugar.
Cover and cook 1 hour on medium to high heat. Flip and baste chicken. Let cook another 1 1/2 hours or until meat starts to fall off bones.
Let stand 2-3 minutes, cut, and serve.
