Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13" pan with foil. Make a single layer of soda crackers in pan.
In sauce pan, bring sugar and butter to a boil, continue to boil for 2 minutes, stir. Pour slowly and evenly over crackers.
Bake for 5-7 minutes, the crackers will float. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. When they melt, spread chocolate evenly. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Let candy harden, then lift foil out of pan. This normally takes about 1 hour. Break or chop into bite size pieces.
