Put enough butter on the bottom of a frying pan just to coat it. Let it get hot, and put any spices you like on chicken, then cook (I like seasoned salt, garlic powder, salt & pepper).
Then add mushroom soup along with the 1/2 can of milk. Stir with a whisk until creamy. Let cook until soup is hot.
Then add most of the shredded cheese and the mushrooms. Stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat. Add the rest of the cheese once you put the chicken on the plate.
