Original recipe yields 1 serving
4 pie crusts, baked, cooled and removed from pans
14 egg yolks
1 pint heavy whipping cream
2 sticks butter
3-4 cups sugar
Vanilla (to taste)

Let's Make It

Bake pie crusts and cool, remove from pan. Use blender to whip the egg yolks until creamy.

In pan put in heavy whipping cream, butter, sugar and vanilla. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly. Add eggs, still stirring constantly. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat, and let cool.

Put about 1/4 of the mixture in the first crust, put next crust on top, and keep alternating filling and crust.
