Brown beef with onions and use whatever seasonings you like. Salt and pepper to taste. While meat is browning, start making the potatoes.
Drain beef. Put meat in casserole dish. Lightly sprinkle small handful of cheddar cheese. Spread can of cream of mushroom soup, spreading evenly over meat and cheese. Next spread corn evenly, another handful of cheese, mashed potatoes on next, and sprinkle cheese to cover. Top with onion rings or just with cheese.
Bake uncovered for 40 minutes at 350°F till golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes or so. Serve with rolls or bread of choice.
