Original recipe yields 1 serving
3 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (any other chicken can be used, I just prefer this)
1 large bag plain potato chips
2 pkg shredded cheddar cheese
1 family size can cream of chicken soup (2 to 3 smaller cans can be used)

Bake chicken in oven until completely done, this usually takes about 30 minutes. Do not over bake because that makes chicken dry. Once chicken is done, cut into small pieces and set aside.

Crush chips into small pieces. In a baking dish (depending on what size baking dish you are using, if a small one is being used you can use less ingredients) sprinkle chips on bottom. Add half the baked chicken on top of chips. Add half of the soup spread as evenly as possible on top of chicken. Add half of cheese sprinkled over soup. This will complete the first 4 layers. Repeat starting with the chips. I usually only do 8 layers but more can be done for bigger dishes and more servings.

Bake in oven at 350 for about 30 minutes or until cheese is melted all the way through dish.
