In a skillet, brown ground beef and drain. Add onions and corn, and cook until onions are done. Add gravy and garlic salt. Make instant mashed potatoes as directed on package.
In a baking dish, place beef and gravy mixture in bottom. Cover mixture with potatoes and top with cheese.
Place in 350 degrees F oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned. Serve with garlic bread and salad.
